The object of riding lessons is to instill confidence while focusing on safety. This will ensure the best atmosphere for learning in order to achieve success.
The definition of “success” is tailored to the needs of the student, whether it be not falling off, 4-h, weekend showing or circuit shows trying to qualify for nationals.
We want our students, be they kids, teenagers, or adults, to feel confident enough with their equestrian education so they can some day be successful with little help from trainers and to understand the natural horsemanship way of partnering with your horse. Ideally, this will lead naturally into confidence in dealing with humans and the world at large!

Camps
Camps are the best way for kids to get a good knowledge about basic care of horses before they start lessons. We recommend all kids do at least one camp before starting lessons because with lessons they will not get to learn about anatomy, grooming, feeding, caring, tack, or just basic needs of the horses.
We want to have fun with the kids and teach them all about horses and how to be safe while caring for the first man’s best friend.
Training
Horses are very smart animals and love to learn, so along with basic training on the ground needed for all horses to have a good foundation under saddle, they also will receive training of basic skills if needed, balance work on ground and under saddle to liberty and bridleless training.
We focus on natural horsemanship with corrective training techniques in order to deliver the best education for the horses while keeping it fun for them.
Horses will also get cross trained with skills from other disciplines in order to keep them interested in learning and in being a good all-around horse. Training varies on a case by case basis, and some horses don’t need as much as others. Our training is based off of that as well as your budget.

Our Mission
Front-Line Farm was created to help ensure the safety of riding while learning the correct way to form a partnership between rider and horse in order to succeed with individual goals. Where people get their start with horses can set them up for success in their future or impinge it. How you learn to ride and handle a horse can be very unsafe for horse and rider if you do not get the proper foundation.
"Horses should be trained in such a way that they not only love their riders, but look forward to the time they are with them."
- Xenophon, 350 B.C.
